DAVE MATTHEWS BAND’S 2 CD SET,

LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY,

SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 9TH RELEASE

Fall Arena Tour Kicks Off November 2nd In Buffalo, NY

On November 9th, RCA Records will release Dave Matthews Band’s Live In New York City. The two disc set captures the group’s sold-out July 17, 2010 concert at Citi Field, the second of two electrifying shows at the venue.

Reviewing the opening night of the two-night stand, the New York Post said: “Matthews and company presented a killer concert for more than 42,000 fans, tapping into his entire songbook from their first record, ‘Under The Table and Dreaming’ to last year’s Grammy-nominated Album of the Year, ‘Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.’ It didn’t matter if the tunes in the set were new or old — each song the band laid down had a built-in freshness…”

Fans who pre-order Live In New York will receive The Big Apple Bonus Disc, which features four songs from the July 16th Citi Field show. The pre-order will run through November 5th, 3:00 p.m. ET at:

Dave Matthews Band will launch its fall U.S. tour on November 2nd at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY. The group will make its first-ever appearance at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY the following evening (November 3rd). In the middle of the tour, the band will play two consecutive two-night stands – Boston’s TD Garden (November 9th and 10th) and New York City’s Madison Square Garden (November 12th and 13th). Tickets are on sale now for the outing, which will conclude with two hometown shows at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA (November 19th and 20th). See itinerary below for details or visit http://www.davematthewsband.com.

The group’s summer run was named one of the season’s “coolest tours” by Rolling Stone. “Twenty years on, Dave Matthews Band continues to be one of the tightest, most intuitive and unique rock bands in America,” observed the Orange County Register.”  “Dave Matthews Band hits it out of the park,” said the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette while The Boston Globe praised their  “fiery two-plus-hour set.”

Dave Matthews Band – comprising Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar) and Boyd Tinsley (violin)  – was the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade and has sold over 17 million tickets since its inception. The group’s latest record, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (RCA), debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in June of 2009, making Dave Matthews Band one of only two groups in chart history to have five consecutive studio albums enter atop the chart. The Platinum-certified album pays tribute to founding member/saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who passed away in August of 2008. The band has sold a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined.
